That was a hell of a series. I lol'd at Cruz on that flyball. Why is he even in the game at that point? No defensive replacement available? Awful coaching lol.

Don't be surprised if you see the Yankees, one of the teams in the mix battling it out for the AL East Division title this year. They could one of the AL wild card teams, at the end of the season.

No. They're relying on too many unknowns. Solid bullpen. Rotation? Counting on too many young players to produce. Boston should be the clear favorites.

I had a different reaction to Cruz. Still do. It wasn't a lol. Still isn't.

Not so sure about that. Baltimore has the scariest hitting team in the American League, IMHO.

I just don't feel the love anymore. Time to retire and head out to stud.

Another blown save. They've gotten a lot of breaks in recent years. Their luck may have run out.

Very. However we do have 161 games left to go. I'll be even more dialed in after my Tar Heels season ends after tonight.

Sure was satisfying to see Martinez shut down the Cubs' crazy-good offense. 10 strikeouts and no walks. giggity. Just another game to show how silly baseball stats like Wins and Saves are. He pitches an absolute gem, Oh blows it, and gets the win instead.

Opening day is one of my favorite days of the year, win or lose. So happy to have baseball back.
