Fernandez could go the rest of the season without giving up a run and Puig would still win ROY.

As much as I defend Fernandez around here, I would still vote for Puig, too. I just had to make my point that Fernandez > Teheran. Sorry to ATL for going off like that.

There was a baseball game last night? I was busy watching the Redskins.

Looking at the box score, I don't think the Nats knew there was a game either.

They've packed it in and quit. I'd shut down Harper and let him rest that knee.

Puig showed up to the ball park late today and was fined by the team.
he will not be in the lineup.

Yanks playing pretty well the last couple weeks. They're 5.5 out of the Wild Card right now with 37 games left.

It'd be close to a miracle to make the playoffs, but they're trying as hard as they can to make it possible.

Dan Haren has a sub 1.50 ERA for the month of August.

Bizarro world...

Nats season is over but I am pulling for Jayson Werth to win a batting title.

Nats should put him on waivers and try to get anything they can for him.

if the deadline isn't up and other circumstances permit.

Zack Greinke lowers his ERA to under 3.
ERA - 2.91

pretty significant to me. The only other time in his career he's had an ERA under 3 was when he had that incredible fluke Cy Young year in KC where he had a 2.16.

Ive always thought he was an unlucky pitcher and his ERA could be lower...but i thought low 3s.
I don't think he'll ever justify $147 Ms....but as long as he doesn't suck and we win one or 2 WS while he's a Dodger, we can overlook that.

Atlanta never has any luck... Injuries all year and this one is the worst yet. Screw HFA, I just hope he's able to play and be himself in October.

It's tough, I'm in an 8 keeper fantasy pool. I've got...

Harvey, Scherzer, Moore, Braun, Bautista, Ellsbury, Wil Myers...

And then I have to choose between Greinke and Teheran. I honestly don't know who I'm going to go with.

Am I the only one hoping the Yankees win it all if their team cannot?

and i hate everything about the Yankees...I hate them to the core. They're up there with the Lakers to me.
too much good theater.
too much A-Rod.

this has to happen......if the Dodgers don't win it all.
good thing they're getting hot and this convo is sort of brewing right now.

If I had to root for someone it would probably be Oakland or Pittsburgh.

Yasiel Puig just bounced a ball home and A-Gon let it through.

we are a better team today.

I'll go with Pittsburgh 3rd.
after that i don't really care.

Brian Wilson sighting.

1.0 IP
2 Ks
1 H

looked like the guns may have been juiced a little...but maybe not....i don't think his fastballs in the 90s looked as fast as the guns stated though.

anywho.
I never hated Wilson...or Cain or Posey...just the Giants. He is officially a Doyer in my book now...contributing to a victory.

and he has the best beard in sports. suck it easy Harden.
