That's an interesting chart. I have no idea what to attribute that to.

Yeah, there's also more autistic kids than in 1906. Not necessarily a telling number.

Right. A per capita dealy would be more interesting.
Could be Trout though.

Either way, I feel like the rules and the way the game is marketed now are ruining the game. Some great players, but for some reason I just don't care like I used to. And I want to.

Agreed. I think Shields is a minor possibility, but that's about it.
They'll probably end up trading for Zobrist. I hope it's not Crick or Susac though.
If the Rays trade Zobrist, they're gonna get quite the haul back.
4-5 WAR players dont come cheap.

Well, they sorta do when they only have a year left on their contract. He's about to turn 34 as well.

Well, immunizing your children gives them autism and makes them hate baseball.
That's the only logical conclusion here.

They need to keep him - no matter how bad his D is. He and Freeman are the only bats they have.

Not happy Zaidi says the Dodgers wont add another pitcher.
I don't want a Rays/ As team that's good but doesnt win in the postseason….
but I'll just fall back and yield to the decision making…not like the Ned Colleti way won me anything

Some Yankee fans seem like they don't mind trading the guy and others seem confused.

how about the RedSox who won it all using the same Sabermetric method?
there is a wild misconception among many fans of baseball that somehow SABRmetrics means buying cheap players on a low budget to win. that is not even close to the truth. SABRmetrics is simply a division of mathematics. that is all. it is nowadays actually taught as a 300 level math course in many universities including the West Point, and MIT. it is an applied statistics. to say SABR can be, and only be used for small market, low budget teams as opposed to big budget teams do not use or need to use SABRmetrics, is to say that only mom and pop's small businesses need to use applied math such as in forms of quickbook in their business to stretch their every dollar, to run efficiently, compared to big fortune 500 companies with big budgets don't need to use math to run their business. the truth is the bigger companies tend to run more math savvy business. baseball is no different now that guys like Theo Epstein, Andrew Friedman, Jon Daniels, AJ Preller, and so many other math savvy younger, better educated guys with higher degrees are running most baseball operations. the days of old guys who paid their "dues" and sign players based on their "gut" like Ned Colletti running teams are pretty much coming to an end.
ehhhhh f it.

Sabermetrics just gets too much glory. Everyone knows who the elite players are in baseball. The most important thing in assembling a team is fitting it to your home field/league environment.
