A 10 game winning streak would be very helpful for the Nats right now.

That and the Reds going like 2-8. But their schedule gets really easy too after their series with the Dodgers.

The Braves need homefield more than any other team. We have the best home record in Baseball and are .500 on the road. Go Bravos

Meh, we don't deserve to be in the playoffs this year anyway. I've always said if you're in a position of having to root for other teams, you're not good enough.

Harper has basically been shut down for the season too it looks like, as he should. He hasn't been the same since that first time running into the wall back in May. That basically killed our season. :(

Evan Gattis obliterated 3 balls off of Cole Hamels yesterday, 2 for a HR. The first was the longest HR hit all season at 486 feet. Hamels was freaking out.

Unfortunately the rest of the team couldn't hit and we continued our losing streak. At least the Dodgers are losing right along with us.

What's Gattis' position moving forward with Bethancourt better defensively of the two?

meh.
im not scared of Atlanta having home field.

we're a better team...i'll play them with all 7 games in Atlanta. thats how much they don't scare me.
in fact, i don't think they'll beat any of the NL Central teams to get to the NLCS anyway.

Gio Gonzalez had a no hitter thru 6 IP last night, ended up pitching a complete game one hitter. Would have been awesoem if he did have the no hitter, considering there were probably less than 20 people in the entire D.C. area watching the game with the Skins opening last night. I actually switched to the game since the Skins were done by halftime.

7 games back of Pittsburgh and Cincinatti. Need an epic chokejob or two...

I'm not sure. Gattis could be the starter for a time or he may keep backing up C/LF and pinch hitting until he moves on to another team. Or falls out of the majors.

Big words from a Dodgers fan...but the Braves haven't inspired much confidence since Heyward went down. He was the catalyst when the Braves were at their best. Hopefully we're timing our slump in September to turn into an October streak.

The October streak is the one that matters

no. I'm not being careful with the Braves. They don't scare me and they can't beat us. Might not even get a game against us tbh.

i am scared of the central teams.

with that said.
i forgot to congratulate the Bucs on finally getting over the .500 hump this season.
