in a vacuum...it's not.

just the 2nd time he's had something to say about me being a "dork" or "strange". I'd just rather not do it. I'm not reciprocating the behavior.

I'm adult enough to be annoyed with how my team plays in a pennant race without insulting a Giants fan enjoying my team's failure [for the day].

Doesn't look like the Dodgers are going to lose against the Cubs, so grats to them on winning the divison

you jinxed us. and i'm crying about it.

this is part mediocre bullpen and also part bullpen being overworked because we don't have much after Clay n Zack.

Game 1 Giants series: Ryu throws 1 inning
Game 2 CO series: Haren throws 5 innings
Game 3 CO series: Frias throws 2/3 of an inning
Game 1 Cubs series: Greinke goes 5
Game 2 Cubs series: Kershaw goes 5.

today was the day i expected to break the Giant's will (for the division). Guess not.

Could the lead be 2 1/2 by the end of the day?

Magic number being 6 > the lead in the division.

a sweep of the Giants = division win.
if we would have just swept the Cubs, at minimum, we would have walked into Chavez with the Magic number being 4. Then a 2-1 series victory would have clinched the division.

that's all I've really been hoping for...
magic number being 4 by Monday night.

not to be longwinded (so yes to be long winded)...
we were going to throw Haren monday night if we won today for sure and just go bullpen by committee tomorrow because of Ryu's injury. Now we might have to throw Haren tomorrow and throw ______________________ monday night.

that's all I've really been hoping for...
magic number being 3 or 4 by Monday night (which is still possible).

Dodgers starting off with the bullpen tomorrow.
all signs are pointing towards Ryu not having another start in the regular season and coming back during the post season.

smh.

go dads.
