probably because the dodgers have had the most overall talent in the league the last two years and haven't got to the World Series?

More than the Nats?

laugh at them.
we write big checks, that's about it.

nobody cares about ur cinderella world series runs where magical things happen from major league average players.
id be more pissed if the Bonds/ Kent teams were doing it.
I'll just wait til ur even years bull is over. hopefully 2012 was the last one.

You easily have more talent than the Nats, when healthy. It's not even close. If you guys would have been smart and traded for Price, you would have played the Giants in the NLCS.

Guys, can't we all just get along... And realize that nobody cares about anything besides the Royals?

if David Price played in any big market, his postseason failures would be lauded like Kershaw's failures against the Cardinals are.

do not want.

thought the Nats were everybody's SABR stat champs...most depth in SP, bullpen. the best defense. the best team top to bottom?
coo. I don't like that overrated team either. I'll take being the most talented team in baseball. Just means we have a potato manager. We should have met you in the NLDS if that idiot wasn't around.

Why would you laud someone's failures? Los Angeles is a weird place.

Yeah, I considered the Nats a better team than the Dodgers, but again, when healthy, the Dodgers have the most overall talent in the league. How many former and current All-Stars are on that team? Plus you have two cy young candidates and an up and coming one in Ryu.

That they refused to trade away when it could have meant the World Series with a trade or two

Great news Quake!

Don Mattingly will manage the Los Angeles Dodgers next season, according to recently-hired president Andrew Friedman.

Friedman was introduced in his new role on Friday and publicly gave Mattingly a vote of confidence.

He said Mattingly will "definitely" manage the club in 2015.

Not before Guggenheim came. We ALMOST had nothing down there before Guggenheim came and then boom boom boom....Seager drafted. Urias snagged out of Mexico. Guerrero and EA out of Cuba.

But it's another reason I don't mind jokes about my team costing so much money. We're not the Phillies with a bunch of dead money and the future mortgaged away. Like it or not, the team is a $240 million bridge to get the Dodgers to where they want to be. We spend money up top, down below and building up the organization. Kasten is on record, not promising this particular team would win a chip, but spending to be competitive because Dodger fans don't deserve to wait to see NL West crowns while they rebuild the team....ya know...like Cubs fans are waiting to see if Theo is gonna make things pan out at Shortstop U.

so far, so good.
I just have to watch the Giants do this in the meanwhile....oh and wait for us to realize Mattingly aint sh**.

Willing to bet most people are picking them because they're the Cinderella and think they have that certain "chemistry" (as Belt puts it) or magic...u know...intangible stuff that doesnt really mean anything.

show me a Vegas line with the Giants as dogs and I'll digress.

The Royals have been on an unbelievable tear this postseason, breaking a record by winning their first eight games on the way to the World Series. Vegas odds makers expect the Royals to continue their streak and win it all, giving them 4/5 (or -125) odds to beat the Giants. But the Giants are no strangers to defying the odds and winning titles when few expected them to – it’s what they did the last two times they got here.

annoying.

Giants get off the hook of having to play with expectations again.
