Both solid moves. They had to upgrade their bench and did that with Kearns. And Johnson is a huge upgrade over having to play Cervelli or Collin Curtis at DH some games.

Nice moves for the Yanks.....just gives the Rays more incentive for the stretch run..LOL

We've never used Curtis or Cervelli as the DH. If you mean putting posada at DH and Cervelli at C, then this does nothing to change that at all. And Johnson?? You meant berkman right?
