bonds surgeon contradicts what a star witness said

Steve Hoskins testified last week that he had as many as 50 discussions about Bonds' alleged steroid use with Ting. Steve Hoskins also testified that Ting told him Bonds' 1999 elbow injury, which required surgery, was caused by taking steroids.

But Ting denied Hoskins' accounts.

Ting said he did not speak about Bonds and performance-enhancing drugs with Hoskins, and also denied telling Hoskins that steroids were to blame for the elbow injury.

I do not care anymore. The steroid era is the past and it's over. This whole thing does not matter to me anymore everyone knows he took them.

Baseball has come such a long way since steroids were banned in the 2004. The game I think is making a bit of a comeback. We really can see what steroids actually did to the game. Homeruns and scoring is down. Really took a hit around 2007 when a lot of the cheaters bodies eventually got down to normal size. Look what happened last year for pitchers for goodness sake.

I mean we're not going back to the dead ball era, but I think there's a lot more balance in the game. Look at all the teams that have won the past 10 years - compelte parity: Diamondbacks, Angels, Marlins, Red Sox, White Sox, Cardinals, Red Sox, Phillies, Yankees, Giants. Strides are being made to improve the game quality and umpiring. I like the fact this year they started the season on time in order to make sure there is no November World Series. I used to hate Bud Selig, he really messed up not catching this steroids thing earlier but I think he rebounded nicely is doing a good job since. The game is as good as it ever been, imo.

I agree completely.

It's a better game today as statistics seem a lot more balanced.

The max is 10 years, but the federal guidelines call for 15-21 months. But the two dudes that got convicted in the BALCO case only got 6 months and 1 year of house arrest. So i\m guessing Bonds will get a similar sentence.
