@GordonEdes Manny retired after being informed by MLB of "Issue" re Drug Prevention program.

Per release, MLB contacted Manny about an issue under its drug program. Manny retired rather than continue with the process. #rays

This is the second happiest day of my life.

Second only to the day Curt Schilling retired.

Now I'll never have to see my two most hated athletes ever set foot on the field again. EVER.

This made me sad for some reason. He was one of the prime reasons I enjoyed baseball so much due to the Yanks Vs Bos rivalry.. :-?
