It wasn't a terrible call. There's another angle that makes it look like the tag was missed or at most he grazed the shin.

Yeah right. That's one of the worst calls in the history of sports. So blatantly obvious that the umpire wanted to get out of there.

He knew he blew it too. That's evident by his getting in the face of the catcher and yelling before he was instigated in the slightest. Trying to defend himself against no one.

That's one of the worst calls i've ever seen.

Find the different angle and tell me my post is wrong.

Braves fan? The ump admitted today that he made the incorrect call.

You guys are totally missing the point. I'm not saying he wasn't out I'm just saying it's not the worst call ever since he was barely touched.

I think I'm with twirlzy on this one. He barely grazed him, if that. The catcher clearly thought he could half-ass the tag because they 'got him by a mile'.

The Ump made some bad calls earlier during the game and ejected Nate Mclouth & Fredi Gonzalez. He seemed to have an attitude throughout the entire game.

That was a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad call.

Worst ever? Nah, but worst this year, probably

However, there is still 1/3 of the year left...LOL

That was a hard call to make, even from replay...but he did get it wrong. I dont think it's bad umping, but it is a strong case for a review system.
