Pujols Meeting with Marlins

It would be ironic if the Marlins who dont like to spend money step up and sign another star, could this be the decision part 2?

Yeah not sure.

But what is also interesting is that the Mariners appear to be serious about signing Fielder. My guess if that happens is it's with the intent of not actually keeping Fielder long term but rather flipping him to another team near the trade deadline for more than what they'd lose here (a sandwich pick in the draft).
