That's WAY too much for a closer. And the Phillies just lost the last two years cause they couldn't **** hit

So, the Phillies replaced a closer who was inconsistent, injury prone and skittish with a closer who is inconsistent, skittish and mentally challenged.

Seems fair. Sayonara to fifty mill.

Phillies seem to be spending money just to spend it. Did they really need to spend $14 million per on a closer?

That's a lot of money for a guy that has probably already peaked.
