Wow. Marlins making a big splash. Reyes, Ramirez, Sanchez, Stanton, and Morrison is an awesome lineup.

I didn't think the Marlins would actually sign anyone since they're notoriously cheap, surprising.

The owner has been holding out for a better stadium.

I actually expected more, though even 6 years 110 is way over what I'd give Reyes

So what happens with Hanley now? 3B?

3B or CF. Very exciting lineup the Marlins now have.

mets losing their star player for just 2 picks is pretty weak

they shouldve traded him during summer time

He'll probably move to third because his range at short was so limited (from a movement standpoint, not arm strength).

If the Marlins add one more pitcher, like a real solid veteran #2 behind Josh Johnson, then they will be a very fun team to watch for the next few years. I wouldn't doubt them trying to make a run for Buerhle or CJ Wilson.

He won't now I guess.

Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes reports that Hanley Ramirez does not want to play third base and wants to be traded if he can't play shortstop.

You would think they would have asked hanley before they signed Reyes.

+1. They knew they weren't going to sign him, it makes no sense not to get some type of value for him. And watch.... they aren't going to learn from their mistake at all, they're going to wind up losing Wright for nothing as well.

Hanley Ramirez does a great job at making himself look like an assh*le.
