Wow. I guess no home team discount for Reds. How well will the Reds fare as a small market team handing out such a massive contract? I know their TV deal is up for negotiation in the foreseeable future, but a 225m contract for Votto? That's a lot of money for a looong time.

Nice for my fellow Torontonian. Not happy the Cubs have to see him 19 times a year for forever, but good for him.
It's crazy he got such a massive deal when he was still two years away from free agency.
