Sox sticking with Bobby V and cleaning house. AGon, Beckett and Carl Crawford in the package.

The Red Sox get a freakin' "Get out of Jail free" card. They get to get rid of Beckett and Crawfords contracts without having to eat any of the money? Unreal. Even Agonz contract isn't going to be too great in a few years.
Dumb trade by the Dodgers. As a Yankees fan I'm pissed the Red Sox get to get rid of all their trash.

Same here. Crawford was an epic mistake and now they get to get out of jail. BS. Why would the Dodgers do this? They already have to eat the contract of Hanley Ramirez, a player that was once great but is now a big questions mark. Now they're going to do that for Crawford and Becket? Hopefully they trade Pedroira during the off-season. Can't stand that guy.

They're doing a major overhaul. I think they're getting rid of the guys that are causing trouble in the club house for Bobby V.
I hate the Sox, but I think Bobby is a good manager. He's been to the World Series and won a championship in Japan as a manager. He's got a polarizing personality though. It should be interesting to see what they do.

The expected trade was completed, and is probably one of the biggest in MLB history. The Dodgers should now be contenders not necessarily this year, but most definitely in the years to come. Also in this edition of 'The Lineup,' Mark Teixeria and Adrian Beltre.
