He might just not be as elite as advertised, happens all the time. Especially pitchers, one injury can screw up your career. Glad I traded him while his value was high in my keeper league.

He's 21 and wanted to do his own workout routine and the Diamondbacks didn't like that. The Diamondbacks are stupid, they seem to have a problem with every one of their good players.

Various people in the organization have been badmouthing him out the door, with allegations such as him refusing to work on locating his fastball, and him throwing a fit over how the D'Backs manage their pitch calling. But they've developed a track record of doing this with every departing player, so I'd take everything with a grain of salt.
Either way, that's still a godawful trade for them. When your GM is targeting Didi Gregorius because his defensive range reminds the GM of Derek Jeter's, something's gone wrong in your organization.

It was pretty widely known going into the draft last year that Bauer was telling any team interested that he was not going to change his delivery because he had been working on it since he was 10 years old and felt completely comfortable with it. Well Arizona drafted him, and knew all of this ahead of time but were still shocked when they attempted to change his delivery and he wanted nothing to do with it.
Nice haul for the Indians, especially since Choo was definitely gone after this upcoming season.
