thank God.

so many traditionalists don't want the park touched. I'm glad the organization deemed it necessary and a priority to do this. I've visited before and while it was fun, i thought the park itself left a lot to be desired.

Now, if only they'd do something about Fenway...

i went in 2002. it was a dump if you ask me.

hasn't it been renovated since?
I always thought Boston needed a new park. One that could have the same dimensions in the field but fit more people in the stadium.

Something about Fenway? Really? I agree that Fenway was a dump before the new ownership starting make the changes, but right now it's back to being that special ballpark. The Boston owners have done a ton to improve that park. Monster seats, right field roof seats, new left and right field pavilions, and also the new concourse areas for food. They have done a great job adding almost 4k seats to Fenway, while still keeping the old dimension and feel of the park.

Now of course there are certain seats in Fenway that you just won't want and I hope in time that they fix that issue. But they've brought this park back from the dead.

As for Wrigley, I've never been but sure hope to get there soon. I do know a few people that have been that say I'm not missing much.

I don't think a new park is in order like Quake said, but from everything I've ever heard from being a fan over my lifetime has been that players hate the park and its facilities.

I went to Fenway in 2008 and sat on the Monster. One of the best baseball experiences of my life... Well, besides all the heckling since I'm a Yankee fan.

I know they renovated both clubhouses during there 10 years of renovations, I however have no idea how they stack up against other teams. My assumption would be that it was very well done, but would like the size of other ballparks.
