Boras is Harper's agent so the only way I see him signing an extension is if he gets something similar to Elvis Andrus' contract which lets Andrus opt out after a certain period.

Also avoid arbitration with Jason Heyward by signing him to a 2 year/$13.5 million contract.

guess you take the money in your youth. He'll be able to get another big deal when this one is up.

Sadly no, arbitration is all but guaranteed for Kimbrel and I think we'll have to trade him in a year or two no matter who the arbitrator rules in favor of.

Braves did however just ink Julio Teheran to a 6 year deal worth $32.4 million.

Braves are looking to be very good for a very long time. I honestly can't think of a spot on the field that they have a glaring weakness at... besides BJ Upton.
