Are September call-ups good for baseball?

You play the game one way all year.
Then in September you can add extra guys to your roster and do what you please.
Then you have to make your postseason roster of 25 players.

thoughts?

I like it. It gives bad teams a chance to see what some of their young players can do, and it gives good teams that extra bit of juice for that final push.

Yes, it's good because it allows young minor league players a chance to get acclimated with Major League Baseball.

I think it is a good idea. It allows for teams to see their young prospects in the major leagues

+ A very long season, so adding some extra guys that last month can help prevent injuries. This benefits team who are well ahead in the standings.
+ The bad teams can just experiment with their prospects and actually play for something.

- The teams stuck in the middle don't really get much benefit from it, since they will likely keep playing their best guys to get a playoff spot.

The Dodgers and Angels just played some what of a ridiculous game.

I like it. No harm in getting a good look at some of your top prospects
