Are you excited Otis? This weekend will be a great one for your Rangers as they sweep the struggling Astros!

Panic button about to get worn out in Houston.

Seriously though, love the moves Luhnow made at the deadline to help bolster the injured rotation and overworked bullpen. Liriano will save us!
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Saw the comment about how some of the players were "disappointed" about not getting any help at the trade deadline.

What kind of BS is that? Suck it up and win the damn AL!

I was kidding. I've seen a few games of Houston and Texas the past two weeks. Neither team going anywhere with the current pitching both teams have. Its horrible. I'd lend you some of ours but we are finally on a hot streak and we need them.

But - the Rangers have this. I don't even comprehend these numbers.

Nope.

I was being a wise ass Otis. there isn't an ounce of pitching in that division. I see Houston one and done in the playoffs. I like Terry Francona and the Cleveland Indians in the American League. Love the combo of Kluber and Salazar.

At the minimum, you have been consuming more alcohol this baseball season.

True. And at a minimum I have been consuming more ribeyes to go with the alcohol.

Could stand to drop a few pounds...

182 pitches last night by the Rangers.

One hundred and eighty two.

Nice move getting Verlander and soon McCullers will be back. just a closer away from getting to the big Dance. I'm sticking with the Indians however in the AL.

McCullers came back last night, didn't get a chance to see the game to see how he looked though. If he's anywhere close to first half form before going to the DL, then I will be very excited. A rotation of Keuchel/Verlander/McCullers/McHugh ain't too shabby.

Giles has been pretty damn good as the closer, especially as of late. I'm guessing if the postseason was today then Morton and Peacock would go to the bullpen, but they've also both been pretty solid in the rotation most of the season. Astros actually have some pretty good pitching overall when healthy, and obviously getting Verlander definitely was a major boost.

I agree the Indians are the team to beat though, they're the team I fear the most.

Oops.

Pitching sucks again. May Peacock save us.
