I don't like this move, but it makes sense with how small the A's fanbase is at the moment

They dont know what they are in for. Now they are gonna have to actually try again. Can't go to Vegas and suck it up. I'm not sure they know how to win.

Vegas isn't a baseball town. At least, based on the time the Mets had a minor league team there. Half, maybe more than half of the fans are tourists. Maybe the A's will win a fan base, but I'm not sure that's a good bet. A lot of the fans in AAA got drunk and booed a lot. The Mets were so happy to get their team out of Vegas.
Granted, Oakland wasn't working out for the As. They didn't have a new stadium deal on the table and Vegas gave them that. Maybe the stadium can also be used for concerts and generate some money that way. I think in the end, it's moving from a bad situation to a not quite as bad situation. Maybe it'll work out for them, but I wouldn't bet on it. That's my guess anyway.

The Raiders have done a good job at being bad.
