How will his career turnout??

What a crazy life story.. From the #1 overall pick to smoking crack.. I'm definitely rooting for this guy.. He went almost 3 years without seeing live pitching and now is in the majors and actually hitting the ball well.. He had a clutch 2 run single against my Cubbies today..

His stats this year: Four for Thirteen / .308 / 2hr / 5rbi / 4walks / 4K's / .471obp

He just doesn't have anywhere in the lineup to get consistent at-bats unless someone gets injured.

Hes gonna have a good career I think. I swear this dude has (or had) the talent to be a top 5 player in the league. He it another HR tonight btw in his only at bat

Not only was he the top pick at one time but he was one of the best ever to go number 1, he was that good. I think they find a way to get him into the lineup because when he's in there they win. I would think he'll end up being the regular centerfielder. The Reds would be a perfect candidate for a DH.

Ryan Freel said hed give his starting CF spot up for Hamilton in a story yesterday. Freel would then move to the infield. He thinks Hamilton will help the team that much. Look for some big numbers from this guy if he gets to play every day . Im defintly rooting for him

I'm rooting for him to do well as well but I hope it comes in a non-rookie of the year way lol.

I have a buddy who is a rookie pitching for the Mets and I want him to win rookie of the year in the NL.
