I'm kinda disappointed that Chavez isn't on the list... he's long been the catalyst for the A's laid-back clubhouse.

It's funny to see someone win by a landslide like Sean Casey...

Also hilarious that Kent and Bonds are the two most disliked players in baseball... makes me think back to their fighting days... was AJ ever on the team when Kent and Bonds were? Did the SF Giants really have the 3 most unlikable players on their team?

no, Kent left in 2002 and Pierzynski didn't come until 2004 but within a span of 3 years, they did have the 3 most hated players on their team at one point.

Tony Clark always struck me as somewhat of a d-bag.

How many players voted? Was it something like 100 (in which case I would take it to mean that, for example, just one person had a really bad experience with Jason Kendall, and he's not really unfriendly)? Or was it more, meaning that everyone here got multiple votes?

Anyway, it's a very interesting list. I've learned that aging 1B-DH "professional hitter" types are a very likeable bunch.

I believe the vote had over 400, atleast that's what my memory is telling me. I'm a bit surprised that David Ortiz wasn't higher on the list.

It was a 464 person poll. So that really is pretty emphatic on Casey's part.

Seeing Casey top the list is no surprise. It's well documented that he's a class act and if you've ever watched a game in which he was playing, he's always chatting up a storm with whoever is on first. Seems like a pretty cool guy.

I don't know why but I have always thought Nick Swisher and Adam Dunn would be pretty cool guys to hang out with. And on the other side of the specturm I've always felt that Adam Laroche seems like a douche. The guy just doesn't seem like he cares if he/the team does well or not.

Adam LaRoche often forgets he's playing baseball.
