According to Jerry Crasnik of ESPN it goes like this:

1. Delmon Young
2. Ichiro
3. Jeff Francoeur
4. Shane Victorino
5. Brad Hawpe
6. Josh Hamilton
7. Andruw Jones
8. Torii Hunter
9. Vladimir Guerrero

Agree, disagree?

Guerrero should be higher, Jose Guillen should be on the list as well.

I agree. Guerrero's outfield play has deteriorated over the course of his career but his arm hasn't. If you are talking about the best arms in the game and nothing else, he has to be a little higher because his arm is still there. But otherwise, I guess the list is pretty good.

Felix Pie is right outside the top 10 if not in the top 10.

I agree with Delmon Youngs arm though he is just nasty. I wish I could throw like that :X.

I would swap Vlad & Andruw Jones personally. But the list is pretty solid.

I have never really seen Hawpe play - Does he really have a great arm?

Delmon Young is correct.

I've seen him make too many throws spot on.

I am surprised teams keep running on him.

Brad Hawpe? Don't understand that one at all.

He was named in the article, but I'd vouch for Mike Cameron as an underrated arm.

Vlad has great arm strength, but his accuracy is horrendous.

It took players about half a season to learn of Francoeur's arm. Now players don't even try even when they'd likely make it. Very valuable. If there's one thing Atlanta can hang their hats on it's that they have the best defensive OF in baseball. Too bad Langerhans was brutal at the plate or it would be even better.

But I will say that Andruw's arm strength is a bit overrated. I don't think he should be in the top 10.

As long as we're going for underrated arms. Geoff Jenkins and Corey Hart.

Yup, I'm pretty sure Guillen is in the same boat.

Pie has a wicked arm.

He has a strong arm but I wouldn't call it one of the strongest. Jayson Werth-less maybe. But back to Melky, he was unproven and 3B coaches took the chance to run on him. That probably will work out in the long run because those same 11 coaches will think twice next time.

   , Johnny Damon has something to say about that.

He threw a 5 hopper to second base from shallow center.

Damon could be at second base when someone is tagging up and he still couldn't throw them out.
