Texas Rangers
SP - Nolan Ryan
CL - John Wettland/Francisco Cordero (couldn't decide)
C - Ivan Rodriguez
1B - Mark Teixeira
2B - Julio Franco
3B - Alex Rodriguez
SS - Michael Young
OF - Juan Gonzalez
OF - Rusty Greer
OF - Sammy Sosa
Manager - Johnny Oates
**question: are we judging on their careers with the said team, or can we use players who played for the said team at one point even if they had betters years in another uniform? also, do we have to put them at the position they played with on the said team if they have gone on to play different positions on other teams? cause that would change some things.

Doesnt matter really, i'd say the players that had their best year(s) with the team.

LF- Ichiro
That's cheating: Ichiro has never played left field. Jay Buhner played like 10 games there, though.

Jimmy Wynn and Cesar Cedeno called; they want their dignity back.
How can you not put a guy whose nickname was "The Toy Cannon" on your all-time team in favor of a guy with 200 career AB?

A quick one off the top of my head.
SP: Phil Niekro, Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux
CL: John Smoltz
C: Javy Lopez
1B: Fred McGriff
2B: Marcus Giles
3B: Chipper Jones
SS: Edgar Renteria
LF; Henry Aaron
CF: Dale Murphy
RF: Gary Sheffield
So I included a few players who only played here a few years and I stayed fairly recent. But the Braves best teams were recently and I wasn't alive in the 70's or early 80's. So sue me. That also probably wouldn't be the best batting lineup I could create, but I was assuming I should just name the best players at each position.
Oh, and of course the manager would be Bobby Cox.
