I guess Schilling realized he wasn't in the spotlight and had to say something?
Seriously, I'm at wits end with this guy. He spouts off to the public about things we already know. I really, truly wish Schilling would just shut the

up and talk about his bloody sock instead.

Schilling is somebody that will answer just about any question. So at the very least he has balls, which is nice to see from a professional player. I have no problem with him calling out Bonds or McGwire.
Funny how the thread goes to Schill and his big mouth. Not the two cheaters.

the whole "steroid" thing is getting pretty boring to me. that's why the thread is about schill.

Same thing can be said for Sheffield. Does this make it right? Schilling has his own issues, couldn't get the best of Bonds, and should maybe see a shrink.
Patient; "Doc, what inspires me to continually stick my nose in other peoples business?"

as long as it's boring to you...
I personally find it boring that whenever Schilling is asked a question and answers honestly, people bitch about his "big mouth"
but since YOU think the whole "steroid" thing is boring...let's proceed to talk about Schilling's big mouth.

The only thing different about Sheffield and Schilling is the color of their skin.
Aside from that, they're both knuckleheads.
Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if their mom slept around and they were actually related.

Please die, Curt.
Why don't you talk about all the steroid users and not just the ones who fit your agenda? Rafael Betancourt, Juan Rincon, et al?

Schilling should worry more about giving up 10.5 hits per 9 innings than about Barry Bonds and Mark McGwire.

Fact is, Schilling was never caught with steroids or tested positive.
Love him or hate him(I hate him), he is entirely correct.

While I do get more than annoyed with Schill and his opinion on everything, I think he's right in this case. I'll just give him credit when he is asked about something he'll give you an answer. Not a lot of players will do that.

That was more my point than just having Schilling lynched for talking about Bonds/McGwire... he focuses on the big names, because that's what will get his name in the papers.

I'm sure Costas didn't bring those guys up.
And, additionally, who the f*ck cares if Juan Rincon used steroids? He has broken any records, he's irrelevent to the conversation.

I am glad that schilling has the balls to say something as well. I agree with some that he is not throwing some other names in the mix that might be added. However, the names he did throw out is probably due to the fact that the media is throwing them all over the place.
I think they need to find some kind of "solution" to the steroid thing quickly, because it seems that is
the most talked about thing in baseball, and is now trickling over to the tour de france discussions.

I care about Juan Rincon. He cheated and no on gives a ****. Rafael Betancourt cheated and he's a major cog in the Indians bullpen.
