I'd love to see a Cubs-Mets NLCS but I think the Mets are a better team.

I would love for this to happen for Atlanta but I have a feeling it wont.

Braves board says the deal is Kyle Davies for Dotel.
Good for KC, pricy for ATL.

Yeah KC gets good value for a dude basically off the scrap heap just a year ago. They need more starting pitching anyway.

Well even though we shouldn't be giving up any starters, this one is fine. davies has done horrible starting for us.

I don't care for Dotel, but this trade means Davies will never throw another pitch for the Braves and that's good enough for me. The only thing that sucks is that he owned the Mets, even if that was the only team he's worthwhile against.

Drayton Moore=fool
Supposedly he could have got Wlad the Impaler from the Mariners but he'd rather have Davies, not so smart.

He could have had his pick of the litter from Bill Bavasi. You forget just how incompetent he truly is.

Why are the Mariners trying to upgrade the bullpen, isn't it the only good part of their team?

It's good but it's really inexperienced. We also don't really have a capable long reliever, which this trade doesn't solve, but as a 7th-inning pitcher Dotel would've had some use.
