The Cubs collect (s)crappy out-makers like I collect rare albums from the 60s.

Cubs need another power bat in the middle of the lineup, especially with Soriano out for the moment.

and Scott Podsednick doesn't have that power bat in his suitcase.

Did this actually go through, or did the Sox pull him back?

Kenny Williams asked for Sean Gallagher. Hendry presumably told him to stop wasting his time. As I said, he'll never be a Cub.

Kenny Williams has been hitting the crack pipe with Josh Hamilton it seems.

Marmol for a rental of Dye & Gallagher for freaking Podsednik, lmao! What a freaking joke.

Scotty Po is horrible anyway, I'm surprised he gets playing time.

I'd rather have Tony Gwynn Jr. well not really I had to think about it for a while though. And Brewers fans know how much I dislike Tony Gwynn Jr. so that should tell you what I think of Scotty Po.

Just jealous he got away from Milwaukee?

I think he is a great player when he gets his average up, and that's when he is healthy.

Fact: Scott Podsednik has never been a great player.

Well I'll say good, and when effective a game changer. He helped the White Sux win in '05.

Exactly. He can just run fast. He's a horrible defender, can't hit for average, has no power and shouldn't be a starter in the majors.

It was a dream come true when he was traded for Carlos Lee. He got into the majors when he was 29 or something like that. He was never good.

Totally. I mean we got such a terrible player, Carlos Lee in return. We got Lee for Podsednik, a reliever and a worthless minor league outfielder and Podsednik was coming off a .244/.313/.364/.677 season.

Then we traded Lee to get our closer and left handed platoon left fielder. Yeah I'd say that's pretty good for Podsednik.
