:nonono: I was watching since the 5th inning and really rooting for the kid.

Leadoff walk and then two batters later Mike Sweeney breaks up the no hitter off the DL in his first at bat in months.

**** that. It's not like we're in the clubhouse trying to **** with his head. THIS IS A **** BASEBALL BOARD. WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BE TALKING ABOUT BASEBALL. I'm GLAD someone posted this to let other people know what's going on so they can check it out.

Post about, just don't use the word "no-hitter". Can't be that hard, can it?

"Baker is doing quite well, check it out" gets the message across just the same and doesn't jinx it.

From now on, every time somebody's flirting with a no-hitter, I'm going to make a thread about it and use the term "no-hitter" like 42 times in one sentence.

I remember watching a game and I forget who the announcer was but he kept saying he wanted guys to talk to him, he would feel weird if he was sitting in a corner by himself in between innings just thinking about the no-no.
