Game 1-At Chase Field in Arizona (Webb vs Zambrano)
Game 2-At Chase Field in Arizona (Davis vs Lilly)
Game 3-At Wrigley Field in Chicago (Hill vs TBA)
Game 4-At Wrigley Field in Chicago (TBA vs TBA)
Game 5-At Chase Field in Arizona (Webb? vs Zambrano?)

Great series between two similar teams. Both teams have average hitting with great pitching. The last time the Diamondbacks were in the playoffs they won the World Series in 2001. The last time the Cubs were in the playoffs was in 2003 when the Cubs lost in the NLCS to the Marlins.
Should be an exciting series.

Last night, him and I were going over each others team on AIM.
I am getting the two ALDS series up in a few minutes. Looks like the Padres and Rockies will play a 1 game playoff tomorrow.

Hernandez in Game 3, Owings in Game 4 according to the wiretap.

I actually think the Cubs would rather use a 3 man rotation instead of throwing Marshall/Marquis/Trachsel out in a playoff game. I definitely wouldn't be suprised if Z went in Game 4 and Lilly pitched Game 5.

If you are saying they are going to sweep us and that Soriano is going to go 0-25 that means he will have 8 at-bats a game. Don't know how we will lose if he gets 8 at-bats a game.

Gonna go with Cubs in 4. Zambrano-Lilly-Hill for Games 1-3, and then the possibility of Zambrano in Game 4 on 4 days rest?

Plus, they have the better offense. Pretty simple really.

Game 1 will match a pair of 18-game winners, defending Cy Young winner Brandon Webb (18-10, 3.01) against Cy Young wannabe Carlos Zambrano (18-13, 3.95).

Game 2: Doug Davis (13-12, 4.25) vs. Ted Lilly (15-8, 3.86) on Thursday at Chase Field.

Game 3: Livan Hernandez (11-11, 4.93) vs. Rich Hill (11-8, 3.92) on Saturday at Wrigley Field.

Game 4: Micah Owings (8-8, 4.30) vs. Jason Marquis (12-9, 4.43) on Sunday at Wrigley Field, if necessary.

Game 5: Zambrano/Webb part 2.

Looks like the Cubs have the advantage in games 2 and 3 while the D'Backs have the advantage in game 1 and 4. This may come down to a game 5.

I would honestly rather have the bullpen just start the game than throw Marquis out there.
