Game 1-At Fenway Park in Boston (Beckett vs Lackey)
Game 2-At Fenway Park in Boston (Dice-K vs Escobar)
Game 3-At Angels Stadium in Anaheim (Schilling vs Weaver)
Game 4-At Angels Stadium in Anaheim
Game 5-At Fenway Park in Boston

Probably the best series of them all. The Boston Red Sox have plenty of big bats (Manny and Ortiz) and great pitching (Beckett and Dice-K) and an exciting young star (Pedroia). The Angels lack offense but they do have great pitching. This series is going to be exciting.

The last time the Red Sox were in the playoffs was in 2005 when they got swept by the World Champion Chicago White Sox in the ALDS. The last time the Angels were in the playoffs they were knocked out by the World Champion Chicago White Sox in 5 games.

This series will be great. Angels are so exciting. I'm going with BoSox in 4, hopefully the Angels can prove me wrong.

Boston in four. They are such a better team with Manny and now that he is back I think this puts them over the top. However, the Angels are pesky as hell and are a tough team to play when you're behind, if they get early leads it could end up being LAA in 4.

Wow, a healthy David Ortiz.

Boston should win this and I hope they pound LA.

Not to put down the Angels, but this is the first round matchup I wanted for the Red Sox. Staying away from Sabathia and Carmona is a good thing. The Angels pitchers have really struggled against the Sox minus K-Rod and Joe Saunders. David Ortiz and JD Drew are really swinging the bat well right now.

Sox take this in 4.

Boston in 5. Better offense, and better pitching, they could go the entire series without Beckett having to start twice.

Best series by far....too hard to pick, wouldn't mind rather seeing the BoSox in the ALCS IF the Yanks can make it there....

Boston in 3. The Angels will bend down and take it up the ass by the Red Sox like they usually do. Lackey will get smacked around like he always does against the Red Sox.

I'll be suprised if the Angels take a game... Angels hitters usually forget how to hit against the Red Sox and Shields forgets how to pitch against the Red Sox.

Sox in 4 would be my prediction.

Angels in two. They will stomp the Blood Sox so hard the first two games that they will just be without eating for several months and lose all of his weight and power, then one week before the season starts he'll put it all back on, Manny will sign a deal with MTV and get his own reality show called, "Manny being Manny", Curt Schilling will retire and become a radio show host and talk about Bonds for the rest of his life, Matsuzaka will stay the same because Asians handle being destroyed well (see: Hiroshima and Nagasaki), and Buchholz will take some advice from his brother and suck for the rest of his MLB career.

(Just kidding. Asians are cool. And Red Sox sweep the Angels.)

All I want the Angels to do is put in a representative effort. To pretend that they actually remember how to hit and pitch. Because every time they face the Red Sox it seems like they forget how to do these things. Just once I'd like for them to play the Red Sox as hard as they play the Yankees.

Gary Matthews Jr. and Fatolo Colon have been left off the Angels playoff roster. Tim Wakefield and Julian Tavarez left off the Boston squad.
