Both teams have mediocre pitching, but I give the edge to the Phillies because they have a better offense, and most importantly - Cole Hamels.

Phillies will probably win, but would love to see the Rox win it. Man, talk about two boiling hot teams right now.

Brings up the question, who would you want to be a fan of right now, the Mets or the Pads?

If we could get Ryan Howard to rechalk the lines between innings over the weekend, that would be great.

Got to go with the Phillies in this one. I think it will be short and sweet too. I'm guessing sweep, maybe Rockies steal one.

Interesting. Any specific reason you think this will be a breeze?

Great Phillies hitting against pretty bad Rockies pitching seems like a good match to me. I think the Phillies pitchers have a better shot at slowing down the Rockies then the other way around. Although with the two parks that the series is being played at, run totals should be high. Neither team has much of a pen, but I like the Phillies hitting too much.

In game 1 Hamels really has it going right now and he's very good at home. The Rockies have also never faced this guy, which is not a good thing normally. Francis has pitched well this season and pitches good on the road. Problem is the Phillies own the guy this year and his 15+ ERA.

Game 2 pretty funny to see Mark Redman vs Kyle Loshe. Redman has pitched well with the Rockies. But overall he's had a bad year. Has faced the Phils twice and hasn't gotten killed. Kyle Loshe has been very good at home this year. Keeping his ERA under 4.00 in Philadelphia. Has faced the Rockies twice and didn't get killed. I do expect this game to be a slugfest tho.

Game 3 I'm assuming it will be a Jim

I doubt it'll be Redman for the Rockies in Game 3, it sounds like he might not even be on the playoff roster. If Jimenez is ready he'll go, if not it'll be Morales.

Yahoo sports has game 2 listed as Mark Redman vs Kyle Loshe. I didn't understand it either, but really just went with it.

The Rockies pitching hasn't been that bad this season, far better than the Phillies

Why does Tony Gwynn list bullpen and bench under "intangibles?"
