Why are they doing this?? The Tampa Bay Rays? Rays of Sunshine?? Are they serious??? Now their uniforms look like the Royals... what they had before was unique!!! WHY?

I hate everything about the new logos and uni's. At least when we sucked, we looked good doing it. Now we suck and just look plain bad doing it.

to change the uniforms is one thing but to change the name is another.

So generic. Whatever.

Minor League uniforms for a Minor League organization.

seriously, those look like the stock logos in madden or any sports games where you make your own team. atleast make it a LITTLE original.

They don't look half bad, at all.

Not a fan of the blue either.

They are generic, but simple.

The hat is an improvement.

The dark blue is supposed to identify with the surrounding deep blue waters, and the light blue represents the clear florida sky.

I think someone in the front office just likes blue.

The Devil part of the name was seen as a negative thing in focus groups.

This is just an opportunity for re-branding. $$$$$$$$$$$$

Hopefully they'll be rebranding again soon. As I've read someone else say, "RAYS" looks like a mortgage company logo. You know your new look is bad when you're hiring Kevin Costner's rock band to promote it.

They can rebrand a dozen times, but it won't matter until they start winning.

This is the closest they have ever been to be a legitimate MLB team.

This team is loaded with every day talent.

I hope they don't blow it.

We're changing Devil Rays because it has the word "devil" in it, and the Bullets because of the implications of violence (ridiculous), but the Redskins get to remain the Redskins. Something's ass backwards about that.

Nothing is more racist than the Indians logo. Have you ever actually looked at that thing? I did for the first time during the ALCS (like actually just looked at it) and damn that thing is incredible.

Not that I care; I think it's hilarious.

^The Indians did change their mascot from Chief Wahoo or whatever his name was, who was ridiculously stereotypical, to some odd pink creature.

I could care less about all the "Devil" and "Indian" nicknames, but how the Redskins haven't been forced to change is borderline ridiculous. That's the only nickname I believe needs to be changed. Forcing a team to remove Devils or something demonic is just dumb. With that logic, the Angels should have to change to.

Man, those look sanitized. I guess I can't say the logos look bad, but very generic.
