ESPN - The Florida Marlins and Detroit Tigers have agreed in principle on a trade that will send Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis to Detroit for key prospects, sources told ESPN's Peter Gammons.
The Tigers would send outfielder Cameron Maybin, pitcher Andrew Miller, catcher Mike Rabelo and three other minor league pitchers to the Marlins.
The deal is expected to be announced Tuesday night when the physicals and paperwork are completed.

Holy ****. First of all their lineup is absolutely nasty.
Granderson
Renteria
Polanco
I-Rod
Maggs
Sheff
Miggy
Carlos Guillen
and
who the hell else cares. they are gonna average 5 runs a game at least, dontrelle will be a serviceable # 3 starter. sucks giving up maybin and miller but its worth it to get the next Manny.

Rotowire:
ESPN's Peter Gammons says catcher Mike Rabelo is one of six players the Marlins will get in return for Miguel Cabrera.
Rabelo did a capable job of filling in with Vance Wilson hurt last year, but he's little more than a backup. If the Marlins are thinking about pairing him with Matt Treanor, they'll have one of the game's weakest catching duos.

As soon as they are any good, this team turns them around for more youngsters, grooms them into superstar players, and then the whole process turns over, again!A.J. wrote:-= original quote snipped =-
