Well he would've split time with Zaun in Toronto. I guess he wanted a full time job in Washington.

I actually called this at the station I work at the day the Nats traded for Lastings. It makes sense for both parties involved.

Yes, they did. They also said they would make a strong push at AJ, but when it came down to it, they basically sat on their hands, and didn't even get involved.
