He should be pretty good there as long as they have a good defense.

This makes our Ted Lilly 4 year $40 mil deal look like a gem.

I'm surprised Ed Wade didn't offer 5/100 because he's so desperate for pitching.

I read somewhere this doesn't affect The Mariners going after Bedard which I am hoping is true. I really don't want the Reds trading 3 out of Bailey, Cueto, Votto, or Hamilton for him.

I don't think Ed Wade knows what starting pitching is. I can't wait til they throw money at Prior and rely on him to be their #2 pitcher only to be out for the year by May.

Right I forgot he didn't trade 5 players including some of your best prospects for a declining Tejada to play SS which he shouldn't even be playing anymore. Damn that Tim Purpura!

The Astros hate is getting a bit predictable and sad, but whatever's clever.

Carry on.

How is it hating when we're all laughing?

I knew you'd say that too, but alas, even I agree the direction the Astros orginization is heading is depressing(or funny from an outsider POV). I'm not a massive homer by any means, and I often disagree with alot of the things AJ posts, but when you constantly make comments about the Disastros in threads that have nothing to do with them, it just gets predictably old is all. No offense intended.

Have a taco, it's on me.

He's right, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Astros have a better record than the Brewers next season.

Well ESPN should hire you since all their expert analysts make horrible predictions too.

Why do that SW? He could just as easily bump the "Rich Hill for Cy Young" thread you started. Plus, I'm not even sure that wasn't sarcasm.
