Hideo Nomo, the 1995 National League Rookie of the Year, announced on his personal, Japanese-language Web site that he has agreed to terms on a minor-league deal with Kansas City that includes an invitation to big-league spring training.

Why didn't the Astros go out and sign him? Nomo would be the #2 starter on that team.

at least it was a minor league deal, not a major league deal,,,if it was, then the royals would be screwed

I remember when he pitched one year with the Brewers. He was so gloriously average.
