i hope they fixed the ratings, last year they were just rediculous, half the yankees and redsox rosters were 95 and higher

and there were probably about 50 or 60 guys rated at least 95 too

I tend to stay away from baseball games now. I would never pay full price for them that's for sure. The screen shots do look good.

people say MLB the show is the best baseball video game, but then again those people could be misguided like NBA live Fans.

Hopefully they fix that problem where there would be a base hit to to the outfield and the ball would go through the legs of the fielders. Man I hated that.

I have been turned off by the 2k baseball series since they go tthe rights over ea for it. I bought mlb and 2k the last year they both came out and 2k sucked that year.

Last year's was better. Some of the team that made MVP came over to 2k.

i cant wait for this game, since i recently bought a 360... i had last years game for the original xbox and the one glitch that stood out was jon miller and joe morgan sometimes saying stuff that didnt make sense in the situation.. they would get loud and excited over nothing, or else they would say something was happening when it was not.. was that the case for the 360 version as well? besides that they really need to make the gameplay smoother, like mvp 05 which was amazing... graphically i think it looks great this year

2K baseball hasn't been good since WSB 2K3 on the Xbox. The next two years they were smoked by MVP (2005 being the best baseball game I've come across) and again passed by The Show in '06 and '07.

Every year they just frustrate the hell out of me with their games. It shouldn't be that tough. Take MVP's gameplay and leave it alone. Nothing needs to be changed. Then use their franchise mode as a model, maybe make some additions but not changes, and you've got an excellent game.

They will have to have had made some serious improvements for me to consider buying it.

Is 2K8 for the Wii going to have online play?

The one game EA did good on was MVP. The last MVP was hands down better than MLB 2k anything. Since EA couldn't make the game anymore, I've come to like MLB and hope 2k8 is better than it was last year.
