Newly acquired Maybin was sent to the minors to star the 2008 season. But, many expected that, myself included.
With that being said, what type of player can he possibly become for Florida (or another team when he becomes one of the best players in the MLB)?

Since coming out of high school, Maybin has projected as a guy with a ton of raw power and that as he got bigger and filled out the homeruns and doubles would come. Right now his speed is top end and should remain that way (although still lose a little) as he fills out. I have heard 30-30 for him, along with having an exceptional glove. Right now, it's just a waiting game as I don't think he is completely ready to take over the everyday job, but should be ready before seasons end.
