Breaking News: Jays sign Barry Bonds

Really? No but it will happen in the next few days.

I see the New York Yankees swooping in and grabbing Thomas in the not so distant future.

Wow.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

I couldn't have said it better myself. Hurt could really thrive with the short porches at The Stadium.

My guess is that the reports of Thomas being 'unhappy' with his demotion were understated...Toronto is calling up Robinson Diaz (a back-up catcher) to fill his roster spot, so I imagine that Frank must have been absolutely furious to prompt this move.

Either that or JP/Gibby leave, I'm fine with either.

No they don't. They already have 17 DHs on the roster that can't hit.

And the Yanks need another serviceable-but-redundant DH-type why?

At least he'd have better hands than Lugo after what I saw in the Jays series.

it's so depressing seeing your favorite players careers come to an end, 1st reggie miller and this could be the beginning of the end for frank

he came across as a nice guy on the interview he did today with baseball tonight, it appeared to be no real hard feelings.
