"We won it a couple years ago, and we're horse[bleep]," Guillen said, according to the Chicago Tribune. "The Cubs haven't won in [100] years, and they're the [bleeping] best. [Bleep] it, we're good. [Bleep] everybody. We're horse[bleep], and we're going to be horse[bleep] the rest of our lives, no matter how many World Series we win.

"We are the [bleep] of Chicago. We're the Chicago [bleep]. We have the worst owner [Jerry Reinsdorf]. The guy's got seven [bleeping] rings, and he's the [bleeping] horse[bleep] owner."

A couple of days ago we were the [bleeping] best [stuff] in town.

The White Sox have been behind the Cubs in the standings all year long (except for maybe the first week of the season)

Anyways....
White Sox blew it by allowing sexist shrine
http://www.suntimes.com/sports/slezak/9 ... 06.article
White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen curses this city for failing to give the Sox organization proper respect, but he has no problem with the infantile and sexist "shrine" his players erected in their locker room.

So much for sensitivity training.

Designed to help the team break out of its slump, the shrine featured two female blow-up dolls surrounded by ''strategically placed'' baseball bats and was accompanied by a sign that read, ''You've Got To Push,'' Canada's National Post reported.

''A few of the bats were doing naughty things,'' Sun-Times beat writer Joe Cowley wrote in his blog. Apparently one of the dolls was propped up by a bat in its rear end. Whether the lewdness was intentional or not, this was inappropriate. As were the blow-up dolls. Period.

I'm sure the White Sox are regretting that contract extension they offered Ozzie last year.

Actually Cubs fan, he's right. The Cubs haven't done anything for a 100 years. They doesn't deserve to get that much publicity in Chicago.

Now, if only we could get Willie Randolph to say something like that.

I'm not really sure what the problem is. He's a decent manager who's very interesting. He says whatever the hell's on his mind. That's better than the calculated remarks that come from most managers, no?

And he hit the nail right on the head.

The Cubs play on the richer, thus more appealing, part of town. The media and the casual fan will always gravitate toward that. Still has to be frustrating when you're managing the other team, however.

Anyways, who cares, his tirade was entertaining.
