Was it just me or was it awful this year? For the first time, I was actually bored.

Incredibly lame contest this year.

Almost as bad as the year Garret Anderson won.

I was kinda surprised by Nelson Cruz hitting 11 in the first round...but it was pathetic that Brandon Inge couldnt get atleast one haha kinda funny you could have put Carlos Zambrano in for him an he would prob do better than Inge did

Pittsburgh was Howard's win in 06. Anderson won in 03 at The Cell.

If not for Fielder winning it, it would've really sucked.

It was rough. They barely even talked about the derby as it was going on. I felt like I was watching a documentary on how awesome St Louis' fans are.

I think if Nelson Cruz won it would have been cool

They dragged the hell out of that thing, 3hrs when 2 is plenty. The tracker was laughable, I liked the live distance meter though.

Yeah, I still remember the 99 Derby like it was yesterday, too. Being nine and getting to see McGwire and Junior (with his hat turned backwards) launch balls over the Monster was something else. I wish the Derby could be what it was back then. To think it was only 10 years ago is what amazes me.

You can blame this whole "steroids are naughty thing" for that.
