Ugh.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/31/sport ... ref=sports
Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz, the sluggers who propelled the Boston Red Sox to end an 86-year World Series championship drought and to capture another title three years later, were among the roughly 100 Major League Baseball players to test positive for performance-enhancing drugs in 2003, according to lawyers with knowledge of the results.

Not surprising in the least, but still, it sucks.

It's almost gotten to be a non story. First off we have to go on the assumption that every team had users, certainly the Yanks did, and second the bar has been lowered so much on this issue it doesnt shock anyone anymore.

Just think: if they're as slow in releasing the next 96 or whatever names, we can keep talking about this total non-issue for like 40 years. Then it will come to pass that Willie Mays was on steroids and everyone will be like, "Oh, I guess steroids aren't that bad. Let's induct Bonds now."

Well the topic of conversation is they won the 2004 world series with apparantly having steroid users. The only tough team they had to get by that year was the Yanks. Werent Giambi and A-rod on that team?
