Jimenez looked really sharp until the fifth. Gave up those two runs. 2-0 PHI. Colorado's offense, or complete lack of, makes me question whether they can get back in this. Hopefully they can get the bats going.

This series and the Yankees series are going to be over pretty quickly IMO. The other 2 series should be long and hard fought.

If the Yankees go up 2-0, I doubt Pavano will shut them down in Minny.

Big win for Colorado, obviously. It's going to be balls cold in Denver on Saturday, and I'll be in the house. Should be fun.

Pavano wouldn't, the stadium would.

hard to believe umpires missed a ball roll up the leg/arm of utley still in the batters box.

Is it really hard to believe though? MLB umpires suck.

If Lidge saves this game the Phillies are on their way? Please shut up Brian Anderson. I despise you during Brewers games and I despise you more on nationally broadcasted games because now the entire nation knows how awful our TV announcer is.

Wow this game has being good. After Rockies took lead in bottom of 8th 4-2, Howard hits two run double to tie it with two outs.

What is it with the implosion of all these closers. Street, Nathan, Papelbon, Franklyn.. That being said, Brad Lidge was perfect yesterday.. Gotta love baseball..

That was a little too similar to the way the red sox lost yesterday.
