Interesting choice. Can't say I've heard of him.

Too bad we still have Drayton as our owner and Ed Wade as our GM, and have no good players under the age of 100 besides Bourn(and maybe Pence).

I guess at least they didn't hire Yost or re-hire Phil Garner. Still, doesn't much matter who the manager is until they get some pitching, and pretty much every other position other than CF.

Please just trade everyone, starting with Lee and Oswalt, then work your way down to Fat Elvis and Pence and the rest. God bless Fat Elvis and Oswalt, but they're not getting any younger and they deserve to play on a team that has a shot at winning, not being stuck on this mediocre piece of crap franchise.

I know that won't happen though. We'll probably sign some other washed up crappy pitchers and maybe sign another scrub like Matsui to a multi-year deal in an attempt to bump our win total up from 74 to 78.

Screw baseball.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Should've hired Yost.

Mills has been Francona's right hand man for a long time. He's way overdue for a shot. Funny part is Wade actually fired Francona and Mills with the Phillies.

The entire NL Central would like that.
