Still waiting to hear who the prospect is, though JP Arencibia has been thrown around as a possibility.

It all depends on the prospect. If is JP Arencibia it is a lot closer for the Mariners.

Jack Z won't rest until he's purged the M's of the Bavasi era completely.

As a Jays fan, I could live with Arencibia, though I wouldn't be overjoyed. Ken Rosenthal says he's hearing pitcher now, which would seem to point to a guy like Brad Mills...a lefty who'll be 25 next year with decent stuff who is stuck behind a logjam of young pitchers at the moment. If it's anyone higher up the food chain (Zach Stewart, Henderson Alvarez) I'll be pissed, but that seems a little unlikely, as I can't see AA trading away considerably younger talent given that the Jays aren't exactly playing for 2010.

Looks like the player going back is Johermyn Chavez, a toolsy outfielder with good raw power that just finished up his second year in low-A. THT ranked him as the most likely player to breakout in the system, FWIW.
