In an interview with ESPN's "Baseball Tonight", La Russa said he didn't know McGwire had used steroids until the slugger had admitted using performance-enhancing drugs in the phone call to the manager earlier Monday.

Hey look. Even on a day of admittence, somebody still manages to get their **** in. I am sick of these guys. How insulting. Baseball is full of crap

It took until Monday for LaRussa to realize this?

Go easy one LaRussa guys. It's not like LaRussa was in the locker room or anything.

I don't understand the point of coming "clean". Either tell the whole story or don't bother opening your mouth in the first place.

He's just doing his act of admission...no matter how meaningless it is.

I understand, just seems like a waste of a time. Hate to break it to McGwire, but everybody already knew he was on it.

If he was going to do this, I wish he wouldn't have "qualified" the admission with "I only did it to stay/get healthy" .....when that probably wasn't the full truth....and everyone knows it.
