It's like airballing a slam dunk

Anyways, looking forward to week 13 where the Browns play in Houston. Can't wait to hear the commentary about how Deshaun "had some off the field issues" and such. Only gonna be topped in a year when he trots out wearing pink in October while the NFL goes on about how much it cares about women.

Not even then because the NFL did away with wearing pink in October 6 seasons ago. It's the crucial catch campaign for awareness to all cancers now.

I mean were people really expecting much with this? Last time we saw the NFL it was Super Bowl media week and one of the biggest stars that was all over the place for the Bengals was Joe Mixon. Who again is on tape punching a woman and injuring her so badly that she needed facial reconstruction surgery...

I mean I still remember being dumbfounded that Dante Stallworth killed a dude while drunk driving and was back in the league playing a year later. So ya not shocked at all that a star QB not even in his prime yet isnt even going to miss a full year.

Also want to be clear, I dont think this is only a NFL problem. Every sports league is like this.

The criminal justice system is supposed to protect women, the NFL just wants to keep raking in money without losing a chunk of their customers.

Can't lie, I am interested in this game.

Been a while since Watson has played, I wonder where his skill level is at now.

Obviously rusty, but I wouldn't throw in the towel just yet when it comes to him getting his mojo back. Once he loosens up a bit I'm sure his skills will rise back up again and he will be assaulting opposing defenses like his old self. As long as he keeps his composure, sticks to the game plan and doesn't allow his desire to score get the best of him, he should be fine.

Moving forward, I'm sure he will handle the situation properly and not get in over his head...depending on which head we're talking about of course.

Haven't watched any of his games but doesn't seem like a $40 million QB or whatever he's getting from the Browns.

I guess you have to give him an offseason and training camp.

Indeed.

He'll be okay once he gets familiar enough to let it all hang out and just be himself. With the right staff in place to keep him loose, he can still be a force to be reckoned with out there. That's why I've been saying from lawsuit day one, don't throw in the towel just yet.
