Wow - you always seem to have perfect timing. I doubt you have ever lost a bet!

How was the local watering hole last night?

I lost my teaser over the weekend by 1 point. So I doubled up taking Houston and the over and ended up only winning $12.00 for the whole weekend. Bad week for me.
Enough for 2 whataburger kids meals. A double Yummy!

You don't watch much College Football do ya!?

That isn't the case this year. There aren't three worth taking at the top of the draft. Sanders is the only one that could go that high. Guys like Beck, Ward & Milroe are not viewed as top of the draft guys.

This draft should be viewed similarly to 2022. Where you only had 1 QB go in the 1st round (Pickett). Now Sanders is a better prospect than Pickett. But it's still a bad class.

You’re right, I don’t watch much college football but I do watch the draft every year and by the time April gets here I get pretty in depth every year. You’re right there aren’t 3 QB’s worthy of being taken high. That’s never stopped teams from drafting them though.

From what I’ve seen so far there are 2 QB’s right now that without a doubt will be taken in the top 3. Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward. Both are putting up good numbers and both fit the mold of today’s QB’s. There’s no way they’re not going in the top 3. They would have to completely bomb at the Combine or get injured.

Every year there is also a QB that climbs up the boards. There is a QB out there right now that everyone sees as a 2nd or 3rd rounder (again right now) that will shoot up the boards all because they have a great showing at the Combine. Even if this guy gets drafted outside of the top 5 with Shedeur, Hunter, and Ward very likely going in the top 3 the draft would still start at pick 4 for the Cowboys since they’re not looking for a QB or CB that high in the draft.

Cool, now we just need a D lineman to test in the 100th percentile in athleticism with 0 production for Baalke to take 1st overall

(Travon Walker is a solid player in all honesty, 10 sacks last year and 7.5 so far this year but he's no Aidan Hutchinson)
BaF Lakers:

Nikola Topic/Kasparas Jakucionis
VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles
Alex Sarr/Clint Capela

Bench: Malcolm Brogdon/Hansen Yang/Rocco Zikarsky/RJ Luis Jr.
