Or what about McLaurin, Smith, and Brown?
Why would they agree to trade him within the division???

lol I mean...what's he going to say? It's true lol. No player would want that made public. Especially someone right out of college.
Anytime a coach says a player has a reputation for being somewhat lazy, there's usually a lot of truth behind it. It could also be a motivation tactic put out there by the coaches. But it's definitely a big red flag.
Guys like that don't typically stick around for very long.
I don’t think anyone is ignoring the red flag. What I’m saying is that this is literally the first time I’ve ever heard anyone say lazy and Jaydon Blue in the same sentence. I live in Texas too so if he had any lazy traits that would have been talked about, and it hasn’t been talked about. Not saying it’s not true just saying hearing this is a first for me.
I would rather let the kid prove himself instead of giving up on the kid and never giving him a chance just because 1 guy said, “he’s a little lazy”. Let’s just see if he has anything. It’s not like he was a 1st round pick. Low risk, high reward.

He should go on Micah's podcast to discuss.

I get it. But when a former coach speaks up, it's kind of hard to ignore. It's not like it's just some random guys opinion on the internet. When there's rumors about a guy like that then it's typically true for the most part. Maybe he matures & develops into a good player. But I would have low expectations for him if I was fan.

Maybe Fat Pat could produce better than league average stats with him.

What is the state of the Cowboys' cap?
If they pay Micah over $40 million a year, since TJ Watt just signed for that much, can the team absorb that contract? Would be over $100 million between just Dak and Parsons?
Jerry said Micah is showing leadership for showing up to camp instead of holding out. Parsons is still under contract for this upcoming season? He won't be a free agent until February?
He's getting $24 million for this 5th year option. Way below his market value but still a good chunk of money for a guy finishing up his rookie contract.
Hmm they extended Osa Odighizuwa for 4 years $80 million. Guessing a good starter but not a big name player. Spotrac shows just over $32 million in cap space. But get this, Dak's cap number for 2025 is $50.5 million but in 2026, it will be over $74 million! Then $68.38 in 2027 and $78.38 in 2028.
Still, assuming they eventually extend him, the Cowboys will have two of the biggest contracts in the league. So expectations for the team should be pretty high, even if they've not come close to meeting them.
